Russian Grand Mufti concludes three-day visit, leaves Bahrain

Manama : The Grand Mufti of Russia, Russian Muftis Shura Council Chairman and President of the Religious Administration of Muslims of the Russian Federation Shaikh Rawi Ainuddin and his accompanying delegation concluded their three-day visit to the Kingdom and returned yesterday. 

During the visit, Ainuddin had held talks with His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.

The Russian delegation also held meetings with officials from the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs, the Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments and the Royal Charity Organisation and discussed with them ways of boosting cooperation. 

They also met officials from the Economic Development Board and the Central Bank of Bahrain and discussed with them economic cooperation.

The Grand Mufti of Russia and his accompanying delegation were seen off by Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs Shaikh Abdulrahman bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Khalifa. 

In a statement, prior to his departure, Ainuddin invited Shaikh Abdulrahman to visit Russia and get informed about the activities of the Russian Muftis Shura Council and the Religious Administration of Muslims of the Russian Federation.
