Bahrain Jiu-Jitsu team wins two medals
Amman : Bahrain’s Ali Monfaradi has clinched the first Jiu-Jitsu gold medal for Bahrain during the West Asia Jiu-Jitsu Championship, held by the International Jiu-Jitsu Federation inJordan.
He also won a bronze medal in the same event.
Bahrain Self Defence Association President Ahmed Abdulaziz Al Khayat extended sincere congratulations to His Majesty King hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier, for the historic exploit.
He also asserted that the milestone achievement of the Bahrain National Jiu-Jitsu Team was the fruitful outcome of the constant support of HM the King’s Personal Representative for Charity Work and Youth Affairs, Supreme Council for Youth and Sport Chairman and the Bahrain Olympic Committee President Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
