Licence of Bahraini driver withdrawn
Manama : General Director of Traffic Shaikh Nasser bin Abdullah Al Khalifa announced yesterday that the department for the first time had withdrawn the licence of a Bahraini driver after registering 20 violation points.
Five points were registered for organising unauthorised race on a public road, while as he repeated the same violation in less than a year. So the points doubled from 10 to 20 and his licence was withdrawn for three months in accordance to the article four of the traffic law.
He called upon road users to follow traffic rules to avoid legal accountability, while highlighting that drivers should check points on them through the e-traffic services through the e-government.
