Bahrain PM commends solid ties with Pakistan
Manama : Prime Minister HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa has lauded the strong Bahraini-Pakistani relations and the efforts being exerted to strengthen bilateral cooperation.
Prince Khalifa also hailed Pakistan’s role as a key Islamic country with a significant international weight.
This came as HRH Premier received the newly-appointed Pakistani Ambassador to Bahrain Javed Malik at Gudaibiya Palace yesterday. Malik asserted that the Islamic World is proud of the Prime Minister, appreciating his pioneering role in serving Islamic issues.
Ambassador Malik also conveyed to HRH the Prime Minister greetings from his Pakistani counterpart Mohammed Nawaz Sharif, as well as his praise of his fruitful talks with HRH Premier during his recent visit to the Kingdom and assertion of his country’s support to Bahrain’s efforts to maintain its security.
The meeting also reviewed the steady progress of the Bahraini-Pakistani relations, and the importance of enhancing areas of bilateral cooperation and coordination amid the situation the region is currently going through.
HRH the Prime Minister expressed satisfaction over the progress of bilateral relations at all levels, reiterating the Kingdom’s interest in consolidating coordination with Pakistan at the Asian and international levels in order to boost global security and stability.
Prince Khalifa affirmed that the new ambassador will be provided with all kinds of support to ensure the success of his diplomatic mission.
HRH the Prime Minister hailed the role played by the members of the Pakistani expatriate community in Bahrain, and their various contributions.
The Pakistani Ambassador voiced pride in HRH Premier’s interest in the Bahraini-Pakistani relations, stressing those ties have reached advanced levels thanks to the Prince Khalifa’s support.
