Bahraini jailed for stealing brother's bike
Manama : The High Criminal Court has sentenced a young Bahraini man to one year behind bars for stealing the motorbike of his brother. The trial, ironically, saw the defendant and two of his brothers appearing in the courtroom.
The third one appeared as a witness, confirming that the bike was stolen by his brother. “I kept the bike inside the kitchen as it needed some maintenance work. But I got shocked when it disappeared while I wasn’t at home. My two brothers were there,” the bike owner told prosecutors earlier.
The brother who stood as a witness revealed that he saw the defendant taking the two-wheeler and ridding it away.
