'Symbol of Harmony' operetta to be held
Manama : An operetta and poetry evening will be held today by the Folk Poetry Society, which has decided to dedicate it to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa for being the first supporter of the poetry and culture renaissance in the Kingdom.
Themed “the Symbol of Harmony,” the event will be held under the patronage of the Royal Court Minister, and Board Chairman of the Folk Poetry Society Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Salman Al Khalifa.
The event features selected poems by Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Salman Al Khalifa, the Royal Court Minister, and four other outstanding poets.
Then, a poetry evening will be held, with the participation of poets from Bahrain and the Gulf Cooperation Council countries. The huge operetta will highlight the glories of the Al Khalifa Family. It will also shed light on the Kingdom’s landmark achievements.
