Bahrain gets 2,756 new housing units
Manama : Northern Governor Sheikh Abdul Hussain bin Ali Al Asfoor said the construction work is underway in full swing in the 2,756 housing units project on islands 13 and 14 in the Northern Governorate.
This came yesterday as the Northern Governor accompanied Housing Minister Basem Alhamer on an inspection visit to the construction sites.
The Governor said the construction work is smoothly progressing in accordance with a joint implementation plan developed between the Housing Ministry and Northern Governorate, noting the support of private sector for the project.
He pointed the leadership’s keenness to follow up the progress of the construction stages in line with the government’s plan to build 25,000 housing units in the next four years in the same governorate.
