Lulu job fair set to open doors for 1000 Bahraini jobseekers

Thirteen big-ticket companies led by Lulu Hypermarket will open their doors to Bahraini job-seekers on June 10 and 11, at the Lulu-initiated Job Fair. The event is the first of its kind to be organised by a private sector company and will be held under the patronage of Bahrain’s Minister for Labour, HE Jameel Humaidan.

The Job Fair will be inaugurated tomorrow at 9 a.m. at the Ramli Mall in A’ali and the Minister will be the Chief Guest. It will run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on both days. 

It will serve as a recruitment centre of talented and educated Bahraini nationals and over 1,000 Bahraini jobseekers are expected to attend the event.

“Lulu Hypermarket is very proud that we can serve as a channel to connect deserving Bahrainis with the job-openings,” said Regional Director, Juzer Rupawala.

He added, “The fact that big companies and multi-nationals such as Batelco, Intercol, Zayani Motors, Coca-Cola and the Jawad Group among others have joined Lulu Hypermarket is an indication of the effectiveness of the concept,” he added.

He said Lulu Hypermarket itself would seek to recruit about 200 Bahrainis although the emphasis is on interviewing and shortlisting even more nationals for jobs with the retail giant.

Thirteen major companies representing the retail, the automobile, medicare and the security industry are seeking Bahraini employees. They are Lulu Hypermarket, Batelco, Intercol, Zayani Motors, Coca-Cola, A.J.M Kooheji Group,Jawad Group Deeko Bahrain,Red Tag,Leaders,Nestle, Mednet and Secure Me security.
