Oman Air opens new office in Al Zamil Tower
Manama: The new Bahrain office of Oman Air, the national carrier of Oman, was formally inaugurated yesterday by Bahrain Authority for Tourism and Exhibitions (BATE) Acting Chief Executive Officer Shaikh Khalid bin Humood Al Khalifa.
Other key officials present were Oman Air Deputy CEO and EVP Commercial Abdulrahman Al Busaidy, Dadabhai Group Chairman Mohammed Dadabhai and Dadabhai Travels Managing Director Aziz Gilitwala.
Located in Al Zamil Tower in Block 305, Manama, the new office follows the appointment of Elite Travel, a Dadabhai Group firm as the airline’s new general sales agent (GSA) for Bahrain. Oman Air launched services to Bahrain from Muscat in 2005 and sees the country as a key market within the GCC region, said CEO Abdulrahman Al Busaidy.
“The airline currently operates four flights daily between Bahrain and Oman and is expecting its passenger volumes in the sector to increase by 30 per cent this year,” he added.
