ManamaEight defendants accused in connection with detonating a bomb and possessing weapons have been hit with heavy jail terms. Two of them received 30 years behind bars each, and two others were given 25 years in prison each, while the remaining four received 15 years in jail.

Two other defendants involved in the case were handed down only three years imprisonment. The Bahrainis had been implicated with triggering a bomb near a local university in Eker.
