Bahrain Cinema Company opens new Cineplex

Manama : Bahrain Cinema Company, one of the Kingdom’s leading entertainment providers, has opened a new three-screen Cineplex at the Al Khor Mall in Qatar. 

With an area of approximately 1,272 sqm, the new Cineplex has a total number of 510 seats and was opened on March 24.  Boasting the most advanced audio and visual features, it is also host to the latest technology and most comfortable seating, hence providing the screening of quality movies of international acclaim. 

On this occasion, Ahmed Rashed, the Chief Executive Officer of Bahrain Cinema Company (Cineco) said, “We are thrilled to have expanded our presence to the densely populated area of Al Khor. There has been an increasing demand for entertainment in the district and we have taken it upon ourselves to provide our audiences with additional quality entertainment.”

“We are very proud of our achievements thus far and this expansion serves as part of our efforts to reach all areas of Qatar. From a business perspective, this is a significant initiative as it highlights the exponential development plans we have in the pipeline for the GCC, plans that, once realised, will serve to position us in the unmatchable position of being regional powerhouses in the industry,” he added. 

Cineco operations include the management of a large number of cinemas and restaurants within Bahrain and other GCC countries.

Since its establishment in the Kingdom of Bahrain in 1968, Cineco succeeded over the years by pioneering many firsts, establishing benchmarks in Bahrain’s entertainment industry.
