Needs to be met during Ramadan: PM

HRH Premier praises Bahrainis’ commitment to religion

His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa has expressed pride in the Bahraini people’s commitment to religion and constant initiatives that serve religion, society and the nation.

He stressed the government’s keenness to meet the citizens’ needs, especially during the Holy month of Ramadan regarding the maintenance of mosques and the sufficiency of food products. 

HRH Premier was speaking in a meeting at the Gudaibiya Palace yesterday with Speaker of the Representatives Council Ahmed bin Ibrahim Al-Mulla, Shura Council Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, former Speaker Khalifa bin Ahmed Al-Dhahrani and First Deputy Speaker Ali Abdulla Al-Aradi, in the presence of senior state officials.

HRH the Prime Minister reiterated the government’s constant keenness to ensure that the citizens are provided with the best and high quality services.

“The citizens’ health is allocated top priority. It’s reflected in the government’s efforts in improving health and treatment services and strict control on food products,” he said.

On executive-legislature cooperation and ways to support it, HRH Premier said that Ministries and government bodies were constantly directed to deal positively with all what was raised under the dome of the Representatives Council.

Addressing MPs, he stressed that the two branches shared the same national goals and policies and that the government supports the issues raised by MPs, within the framework of the available resources.
