BCCI chairman Khalid Almoayed resigns!
Manama: Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) chairman Khalid Almoayed has tendered his resignation, surprisingly a day after he was reelected chairman.
BCCI board of directors had decided in an extraordinary meeting on Sunday to reelect Mr Almoayed as the chairman of the Board for the remaining period of the board’s session.
However he tendered his resignation yesterday.
DT News has learnt that he was frustrated over few board members' performance.
BCCI spokesperson said no official statement about the resignation has been issued yet.
BCCI’ s next general assembly is scheduled on April 7.
Sources said BCCI members will request him to withdraw his resignation.
