F1 Game Zone to offer thrills for fans

ManamaMotorsport fans looking for a unique thrill at this weekend’s Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix must visit F1 Game Zone, located along BIC F1 Village vending area.

F1 Game Zone is an interactive tent with activities that give race-goers a chance to experience some of the thrills of the sport on a personal level. It is set to be one of the major attractions off the track throughout the race weekend.

There will be F1 car simulators as well as an impressive, high-fidelity, 180-motion simulator that bring the rider inside the simulation by making the virtual forces and impacts real.

Visitors will also be able to test their reaction speed and hand-eye coordination by using the same equipment that F1 drivers use to train, the BATAK Pro. Here, the aim is to hit the illuminated buttons at random within a 30-second time limit.

Further, F1 Game Zone will feature an eight-lane car racing track with the BIC track design, giving the fans a chance to compete with others for the right to be first across the finish line.

The Pit Stop Challenge will give people the chance to experience accurate demonstrations as to how to complete a pit stop while being instructed on the roles of the pit crew. Using life-like compressed air drills, the participants’ time will be recorded as they take on the challenge.

Meanwhile, an interactive Pit Wall and F1 training experience will also be part of the F1 Game Zone. There will also be perfect photo-opportunities for fans on a Podium and inside an F1 car.
