Private school warned of violating regulations
Manama : A private school was given a final warning yesterday on account of its continuous violations to the norms of Education Ministry. The authorities have given a period of 24 hours to the school to rectify its situations, especially after a “serious violation” was detected at one of its branches in the Kingdom.
In a press statement, the Education Ministry said, “The Ministry has given a final warning to Al Majd Private School for violating the permitting terms.”
During a recent inspection at the school, the Ministry officials found a labourers’ accommodation on the school campus.
The Ministry stated that a serious violation to safety and security terms were found in addition to a series of other violations.
It confirmed that a final warning was sent to the school to evacuate the room used as a labourers’ accommodation and remove it from the school campus to ensure the safety and security of students.
The Ministry also added that “a period of 10 days had been given to the administration of the school to remove the remaining violations, otherwise the school would be subjected to deterrent procedures in accordance to Law Decree 25 of the year 1998.”
