Recruitment Services office to be shifted to Riffa

Manama  : Labour and Social Development Ministry’s Undersecretary, Sabah Al Dosari said that the Southern Governorate’s Recruitment Services office in Awali will be shifted to Riffa Community Centre on April 3. The office, according to Al Dosari, will become the main branch offering recruitment services in all areas of employment, unemployment insurance and social development provided by the Ministry.

Al Dosari explained that the decision complements the framework that the Ministry seeks to expand in its services, especially after merging Ministries of Labour and Social Development by HM the King’s decree last October.

The Undersecretary expressed his deep gratitude to the Southern Governorate for welcoming a Recruitment Services office since its launch in September 2010. He commended the guidance of the Governor of the Southern Governorate, Shaikh Abdullah bin Rashid Al Khalifa in providing full support to the office and its employees. He pointed out that this is the best embodiment of true partnership among  government institutions in the Kingdom through mutual cooperation between the Ministry and the Governorate to provide services to the citizens.

It is worth mentioning that the Recruitment Services office in the Southern Governorate is part of a number of employment and training centres in all Governorates of the Kingdom. All these centres are linked electronically to the Ministry’s main building database system.

Al Dosari added that the office provides comprehensive services, including unemployment insurance and social services.  The other branches of the Governorate are in areas of East Riffa, West Riffa, Al Zallaq, Awali, Askar, Jow, Al Dur and Wadi Al Sail.
