Calligraphy for Bahrain F1 visitors by Discover Islam
Manama : The Discover Islam, a non-profit educational institution, is offering Bahrain Grand Prix visitors a chance to get their names written on a piece of paper in calligraphy style.
Discover Islam has been an active vendor at the Formula One, Grand Prix right from its start in 2004. The group comes with unique ideas and presentation to attract the audience who shows up at the vending area of Bahrain International Circuit.
Last year, they set-up a stall, which served traditional Arabic coffees, dates and other beverages. The whole lot idea of the stall is to give the public a chance to know the traditions and customs of the Kingdom.
“Each year we bring out different ideas so that those coming from different parts of the world will know about our country and its traditions, Mohamed Fakhri told DT News. “Since 2004, we have seen lots of people, but what makes us happy is that those who regularly comes to see the race, also tries to come and visit us, which encourages us to do more in the future,” he
added.
Discover Islam Centre was founded in 1987 by a group of Bahraini professionals and businessmen. It was instituted to provide relevant, important and precise information about Islam, particularly for those who seek it locally and internationally.
