Batelco and Ericsson Partner to Deploy First Commercial 4G Radio Dot System

Batelco, Bahrain’s leading communications solutions provider and Ericsson, a world leading communications technology company, are once again partnering to deliver world class technology for Batelco’s customers. The two partners have teamed up to deploy Ericsson’s state-of-the-art 4G LTE Radio Dot System solutions in Bahrain.
Ericsson’s Radio Dot System is an innovative solution designed to improve mobile network performance inside large buildings. Quick and easy to install, this small cell solution is designed to deliver an enhanced user experience for both voice and data.
Batelco has already launched its first commercial deployment and begun to roll out the solution to its major customers, making Batelco not only the first communications provider in Bahrain to offer the 4G service but also the first 4G Dot solution in the Middle East.
