Traffic Hotline surveyed 29254 cases
Manama: General Directorate of Traffic communication Centre (Hotline 199) received 29254 cases in the first quarter of 2016. The centre surveyed 644 hit-and-run cases, 83 accidents involving pedestrians, 102 accidents causing medium injuries, 49 serious accidents, 42 accidents with medium damages and 6 accidents with major damages.
Director of Operations and Traffic Control Ali bin Mohammed Al Nuaimi also reported 14700 wrong parking violations and 592 different traffic violations.
