Batelco to hold fifth Annual Motor Show
Manama: Batelco’s fifth annual Motor Show, organised by the company’s Youth Segment will take place on Friday at Batelco’s Hamala Headquarters from 9am to 6pm.
For the 2016 show, three key sponsors – Continental, Oneeighty and Zu Gluhen are supporting Batelco and additional support is being provided by Batelco’s partners including Red Bull, BIC, Arabian Motors, Super Car Club, Bahrain Riders and Pepsi.
The 2016 show will build on the success of previous years and feature various activities targeting motor sport fans and the public, including families. These activities will include a Car Show, followed by awards for the best three cars in each category, a Motor Bike Show, followed by awards for the best three motor bikes in each category. Visitors at the event may also get involved in the voting with a special category, Best of the Best, where the audience may vote for the best car and best bike.
A Music Show featuring a live band and DJ plus added entertainment for children with activities such as Kids Karting, remote control cars and a Food Festival will also enhance the fun. A number of stalls for sponsors, which are mainly car dealers, will be set up and Batelco’s Stand will also be on-site to promote and sell Batelco’s products and services.
The car categories scheduled to participate in the show are Classical cars, Classic customized cars, Classic 4X4 vehicles, in addition to 4/6/8 Cylinder (Sport and salon cars). The Motor Bike categories cover Scooters, Sports, Metric, Touring, HD Classic, HD V Rod, HD Classic and Customised Bikes.
Batelco Acting in Charge of the Consumer Division Ebrahim Al Sayed said that the Batelco Motor Show continues to grow in strength and popularity and that the participants, many of whom have been on-board since the first event, were really looking forward to a great day of automotive fun.
“Once again, we invite everyone to visit the best motor show in the region and enjoy a day out full of fun in a family-friendly place. Also, visitors may share their experience through taking photos of their favourite cars and motor bikes and sending them to family members or friends. Entrance is free of charge,” added Mr. Al Sayed.
