Edu, training vital for citizens, says CP

ManamaCrown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa highlighted the importance of continuing to develop Bahrain’s education and training sector as a key pillar to the Kingdom’s sustainable development programme. 

HRH Crown Prince also stressed that education and training are vital components to equip citizens with adequate skills that guarantee opportunity.

Prince Salman was speaking in a meeting with Dr. Martyn Forrest, the former Executive Director of the National Project for Education and Training Development, in the presence of  Deputy Prime Minister Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa at Gudaibiya Palace yesterday.  

During the meeting, Dr. Forrest presented HRH Crown Prince with a report, commissioned by the Supreme Council for Education and Training, to review the progress of education and training in the Kingdom of Bahrain over the past decade.

The newly-appointed Executive Director of the National Project for Education and Training Development, Dr. Roy Blatchford, also attended the meeting.
