Toddlers reunited with family in Hamad Town

ManamaTwo lost children were reunited with their families in Hamad Town yesterday, thanks to a police patrol.

A post was circulated online claiming that the two children are Asian and were found near Ibn Tufail Primary Boys School in Hamad Town.

A reliable source confirmed to DT News that they were reunited with their family shortly after they were found by a police patrol.

However, the source denied that the children were Asian, saying, “They are Syrian brother and sister. The boy is named Ali, 3, and the girl is called Alseen, 4. The police patrol found them near Roundabout 21 in Hamad Town. They searched the neighbourhood, found their house and reunited them with their parents. No case was reported at the police station.”

The family could not be reached for a comment.
