Shaheen Pigeon Flying Association to hold next tournament on April 29, May 1
Manama : Following the success of their first tournament, Shaheen Pigeon Flying Association has announced its next event scheduled to take place on April 29 and May 1.
The organisation had held its first event on April 8 under the patronage of Pakistan Club. The Club had been celebrating Pakistan-Bahrain Friendship Week and this event was a part of the same to show solidarity among the people of Bahrain and Pakistan.
The event witnessed 16 participants and each participant was allowed to fly seven baby pigeons. The classification of the participants was based on maximum number of flying hours accumulated by the pigeons.
Saad Mubarak came in the first position with a total time of 64.59 hours, followed by Muhammad Ateeq in the second position with a total time of 57.54 hours and Asif Pehlwaan in third position with a total time of 51.55 hours.
Shaheen Pigeons Committee members have extended their gratitude to Pakistan Club Chairman Muhammad Rafique Chaudhary for the support.
