“The Ministry organises various youth activities, including the Universities Debate, emanating from the Ministry’s keenness to uplift youth to a better future,” said Director of Youth Affairs Directorate in the Ministry Eman Faisal Janahi.

“Such debates create leadership traits, help the young minds to make constructive dialogue based on argument-versus-argument and the acceptance of one’s opinion and another’s opinion besides learning enlightened speech-making and oration,” she added.

The debate in its fourth edition aims to develop the skills of scientific research and critical thinking, argument-versus-argument, public addressing and oration techniques in a highly positive and competitive environment.

In addition, the programme aims to guide youth towards urbane methodology of management of discussion, exchange of views and opinions and counter-opinion.
