Best Western thrash Sofitel by 19 runs
Manama : Best Western beat Sofitel by 19 runs in the latest matches of the Seven-a-Side Inter-Hotel Charity Cricket Tournament at The Ritz-Carlton, Bahrain.
Batting first, Best Western made 58 for three in its six overs with Jins (16) top scoring and Vipin (one for three) the best of the bowlers.
Sofitel fell short of the target after being dismissed for 39 in 5.5 overs despite a fine knock by Sebastian (27 of 13 deliveries) who top scored with Bhaskar (one for five) returning the best bowling figures.
In another match, The Diplomat Radisson Blu defeated Marriott Executive Apartment by 15 runs after scoring 53 for five in six overs with Yasir (29 off 16) being the main scorer and Tapas (two for none) the best of the bowlers.
Marriott Executive Apartment in reply were then bowled out for 38 in 5.2 overs despite a good knock by Sudarsan (17 off 12) with Anton (one for eight) the best of the bowlers.

Intercontinental Regency ‘A’ 58/5 in 6 overs (Yasir 32 off 15, Qamar 2-4) bt Gulf Hotel 24 all out in 5.5 overs (Deen 9 off 11, Dinesh 2/15) by 34 runs.
