Drug peddler gets 10-year jail in Bahrain
Manama : The High Criminal Court handed down a suspect ten years behind bars for peddling drugs.
He was fined also BD5000, while a second man, accused of substance abuse, was given one year in prison and a fine of BD3000.
The first accused was allegedly selling drugs, and police assigned an undercover agent to carry out a sting operation to nab him red-handed. The agent reportedly contacted the first accused, offering to buy six heroin cigarettes for BD60.
But police nabbed him as he sold drugs to the second man in the case.
