Bahrain is ready to battle terror!
Manama : Expressing its determination to snuff out terrorism, the General Command of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) has said that the BDF is ready to deal with sedition groups and their heads at any cost. In a statement issued here yesterday, it said, “They plot and incite with support from abroad, and carry out criminal acts. They will all be brought to justice and the laws will be fully applied.”
The General Command also expressed condolences to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander, the Ministry of Interior and to the family of the policeman Mohammed Tanweer, who was killed in the terror attack in Karbabad. Two others were injured in the attack.
The General Command pointed out that it’s fully aware of the acts of terrorism against the security of the Kingdom of Bahrain by the evil powers.
Meanwhile, Council of Representatives Speaker Ahmed bin Ibrahim Al-Mulla has stressed full parliamentary support for the General Command’s determination to stand against terrorist groups. He hailed BDF efforts, led by Commander-in-Chief Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, in maintaining security, protecting the royal reform project and the comprehensive development process, as well as defending the national achievements made under the leadership of HM the King.
Commending the efforts of the Interior Ministry and security agencies in countering terrorism, Al-Mulla urged everyone to endorse the State’s actions and plans against terrorists.
Moreover, the General Secretariat of Arab Interior Ministers’ Council in a statement strongly condemned the terrorist attack that targeted on-duty public security patrolmen. It reiterated its full supportive stance with the Kingdom and its courageous security forces in tackling terrorism.
Saudi Cabinet condemns
Condemning the terror attack in Karbabad, Saudi Cabinet yesterday stressed support of Saudi Arabia to Bahrain in fighting all forms of terrorism. The council meeting was chaired by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz
Al Saud.
