Nabih Saleh housing project near completion
Manama : Housing Ministry announced that the construction of Nabih Saleh housing project was almost complete.
The project is estimated to be completed by mid this year and units will be distributed as soon as possible.
Housing Ministry’s Assistant Undersecretary for Housing Projects Sami Abdulla Buhazza, said the project, which provides 225 units, would reduce the housing application waiting list of the Capital Governorate.
He said the Ministry is currently working on completing the infrastructure works such as water lines, telephone lines, electricity lines lamp posts and road pavements.
He added that the project is designed according to the D11 model, which consists of two floors and four rooms, with the possibility of building an extra floor.
Buhazza revealed that it was the entrance infrastructure and the development of sewage solutions that delayed the pace of the project.
The project also includes a mosque, commercial stores and open areas.
Buhazza stressed that this housing project is one of the largest projects in the Capital Governorate, where scarcity of land is a big issue.
