VIVA Bahrain-LG to bring new home-theatre experience to customers

Manama : VIVA Bahrain has inked a deal with LG to expand its suite of premium broadband device add-ons, which includes an LG Smart TV offered with complimentary devices.

Under this agreement, VIVA Broadband customers will be able to simply add the TV to their existing plan and enjoy a high-end home theatre experience or Bluetooth Sound Bar on par with real theatres.

Commenting on the collaboration with LG, VIVA CCO Andrew Hanna said, “Our cutting-edge technology and LG’s expertise in consumer electronics is a powerful combination that will help drive new standards of innovation in mobile communications. We hope our customers gain the most out of this value-added offer and enjoy entertainment on the Kingdom’s superfast 4G network.”

Meanwhile, AJM Kooheji Group COO Sanjeev Awasthi said that over the years, LG has become one of the brands that every household associates with.

VIVA has also followed this aggressive path since its introduction in the Kingdom and is the most sought after telecom brand in Bahrain. With the VIVA offer, broadband customers will have the option of an LG Smart TV 49-inch being offered with a free LG DVD Home Theatre System, or the 55-inch screen which is paired with a free LG Bluetooth Sound Bar 200. Both Smart TVs are geared with cinematic 4K resolution featuring nearly 8.3 million pixels and stunning cinematic colours. 

Customers can further engage with LGs flagship TV module using its built-in Wi-Fi, magic remote, voice control, and connecting their favourite entertainment through USB and HDMI ports.

VIVA Broadband customers who wish to get their own LG Smart TV will also have the flexibility to choose from 12 to 18 months contracts, with monthly instalments starting from BD15. The Smart LG TVs will be on display at VIVA’s City Centre outlet.
