Comfortable win for Matrix CC

Manama: Matrix CC defeated Pak CC by 23 runs in the latest matches of the BFC sponsored BCL-CBA Division Diamond League 25 Overs Tournament at the Busaiteen Grounds in Muharraq.

Batting first, Matrix scored 174 for seven in its 25 overs with Manoj (52) and Althaf (28) being the main scorers and in reply, Pak CC were dismissed for 151 with the wickets picked up by Arun (two for 19) and Manoj (two for 26).

In another match, Bassali Focus Tiger enjoyed a crushing 139-run win over Muharraq Eagle after making an impressive 197 for six thanks to fine knocks by Rashid (54) and Wasay (43).

Muharraq Eagle were then bowled out just 58 with Rizwan (32) offering the only resistance as Naeem (four for 14) and Mujtaba (three for 14) snapped up most of the wickets to fall.

Stallions 91 all out (Munir 16, Bilal 3/24, Mansoor 2/28) bt Kingdom Pride 45 all out (Mohammedi 17, Ijaz 3/17, Adeep 2/7) by 46 runs.

Monviso CC 224/8 in 25 overs (Majid 68, Waqas 48) bt Awali Bapco 173 all out (Cobus 79, Khalid 3/45, Farhan 3/32) by 51 runs.

Kerala XI 192/3 in 25 overs (Justin 92, Karthi 38,Jayant 38) beat Hala CC 140 all out (Kamal 28, Karthik 4/19) by 52 runs.
