Fortune in VIVA MUSS try-outs kick-off
Manama : Former Manchester United defender/midfielder and South African International, Quinton Fortune, will attend the kick off the Sixth VIVA Manchester United Soccer Schools (MUSS) try-outs programme today at the Bahrain Football Association premises in Riffa.
The event will host an autograph session open to all Manchester United fans at 5pm and they have the opportunity to get the autograph on their favourite Manchester United merchandise as well as a memorable photograph.
The try-outs take place today and tomorrow, where over 400 young players, boys and girls, of age 12-15 will step up to the football challenge for a chance to win an all-expenses and week-long trip to the UK for Manchester United Soccer Schools training.
With the try-outs starting this weekend, the hunt is on to look for budding football players for the programme with participants having the opportunity to demonstrate their best skills in the knock-out stages and be evaluated on their football skills by renowned UEFA qualified, MUSS coaches flown in to Bahrain from the UK.
Today the try-outs will witness boys and girls play six-a-side matches after which, 32 best performers will progress to the next stage of the try-outs.
Tomorrow will have the shortlisted performers undergo a training session out of which, the best 22 of players will be selected for the football experience in the UK.
The selected players of the VIVA MUSS 2016 talent hunt will be offered a unique experience to turn into reality their football dream of training in the UK with one of the world’s biggest and longest running football club training programmes, MUSS.
