258,685 people entered Bahrain from April 14-20
Manama : A total of 258,685 people had entered Bahrain between April 14 and 20, said the Assistant Undersecretary for Ports, Search and Follow-up at the General Directorate of Nationality, Passports & Residence (GDNPR).
He added that 211,211 of them arrived from Saudi Arabia and other Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries via King Fahd Causeway, 47,145 through Bahrain International Airport and 329 through ports.
King Fahd Causeway, the 25-kilometre-long terrestrial link between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, was opened on November 26, 1986. It has been used by millions of travellers and vehicles ever since, making it one of the busiest roads in the Arab world.
