Prince Salman went on to recall the launch of the CPISP in 1999 - when four students received scholarships to obtain bachelor’s degrees - and how the programme has grown to send 10 students a year to study.

In conclusion, The Crown Prince thanked the staff of the CPISP, who work with renowned international universities and support the students from their enrolment through to their graduation.

This recipients include one student who obtained a full score in his SAT – Math examination.

The CPISP gives its scholarship recipients the opportunity to choose their own fields of study from international universities of their choice.

The Programme has awarded a total of 166 university scholarships to outstanding Bahraini students since its establishment.
