Bahrain court upholds rioters’ sentence
Manama : Twelve persons convicted in connection with a riot that took place in Juffair three years ago had their jail terms upheld.
The Bahraini convicts received earlier prison sentences between three and five years. They landed in police net after burning tyres and pouring oil on a vital road in Juffair, disrupting the traffic flow.
They also attacked police officers with firebombs but nobody was injured.
