Edu Minister honours schools

East Riffa Secondary School for Boys swooped the Education Minister’s Prize for Cultural Activities for the year 2014-2015. Al-Maarifa Secondary School for Girls and Muharraq Secondary School for Girls ranked second and third respectively.

Education Minister Dr. Majid bin Ali Al-Nuaimi honoured the outstanding schools and presented them with the awards in a ceremony held at the ministry’s hall in Isa Town . Al-Daih Primary-Intermediate School for Girls, Zenubia Intermediate School for Girls and Al-Dair Primary-Intermediate School for Girls won the awards respectively.

In the primary level, the prizes went respectively to Badr Al-Kubra Primary School for Boys, Hafsa Um al-Muminin Primary School for Girls and Al-Rawdha Primary School for Boys Dr. Al-Nuaimi presented the shield of excellence to Hamad Town Boys’ Secondary School, Ghazi Algosaibi Girls’ Secondary School, Jidhafs Girls’ Secondary School, Khawla Girls’ Secondary School, Om Salama Intermediate Girls’ School, Kairouan Intermediate Girls’ Intermediate School, Zallaq Primary-Intermediate Girls’ School, Budaiya Primary-Intermediate Girls’ School, Mariam bin Omran Primary Girls’ School, Naseeba bint Kaab Girls’ Primary Girls’ School, Al-Safa Primary Girls’ School, Peal of the Gulf School, Al-Eman School and Al-Amal Special Education Institute.
