The meeting commended the bilateral relation between Bahrain and China and recalled the visit of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to China and its impact on strengthening ties.

In this regard Al Hawaj emphasized on the standing of China as a major economic power and expressed keenness in learning from the Chinese experience.

He reviewed the trade volume between both friendly countries, which amounted to 121 million U.S dollars up to February 2016, according to Bahrain Central Informatics Organization (CIO) and urged to enhance business ties by intensifying the exchange of delegations and encouraging joint business ventures.

From his side, Zhezhu lauded Bahrain on its advanced business environment and the ease of starting a business in light of the zero taxation and numerous facilities offered to foreign investors.

He communicated the gladness of the Chinese business owners and investors in Bahrain and shed a spotlight on the outcomes of such business ties on the national economies of both friendly countries.
