Labour Day at Indian Club
Manama : The Indian Club Labour Day Celebration 2016 will be held on the Indian Club premises in Gudaibiya on May 1. The event, which is expected to attract over 3,000 expatriate workers, is being organised by the Indian Club in association with the Tamil Community.
The Indian Club Labour Day Celebration 2016 will start at 10am, where a number of services and resources will be provided to support the workers, including legal advice and medical check-ups.
The guest of honour will be Minister of Labour and Social Development Jameel Humaidan. The event will feature multi-cultural performances from a wide range of local performers.
“The Indian Club aims to reach out to all sectors in the Indian community in Bahrain and we are delighted to be able to support the expatriate workers” said General Secretary Ashok Kumar.
