Bahrain jails five men for attacking cops
Manama : The High Criminal Court has sentenced five defendants to five years in prison each for attacking police officers with Molotov cocktails. The incident occurred in Ras Ruman, where a riot broke out on a main road in the area.
According to court files, the vandals attacked police officers upon their arrival to restore order. The assault caused damage to two vehicles, but no human losses were reported.
The defendants were put on trial after their involvement in the riot was established in police investigations.
