HM King’s role in supporting Bahraini workforce praised
Manama : First Deputy Speaker of the Representatives Council Ali Al Aradi congratulated the labour force in Bahrain on the Workers Day, which is celebrated on May 1. He stressed that the Bahraini worker is the pivot of development and achievement. He also lauded His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa for his unflinching support to the trade union functions. “It reflects the leadership’s tremendous care for the work force in Bahrain and keenness to protect their rights.”
Al Aradi reiterated the parliament’s pledge to continue serving the interests of the workers through more upgraded legislation to build on previous achievements.
He called on the companies and institutions’ Boards of Directors to further boost relations between trade unions and the companies’ administrative bodies to overcome challenges, fast-track production and improve quality.
Moreover, he pointed out the need for concerted efforts to promote productivity, raise the State’s general budget by boosting the role of industries and working out other alternatives to invigorate the national economy.
