LMRA opens new branch

Manama : Services offered by Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA) will be available at its new branch in Salman Port (Mina Salman).

The authority announced that the branch would be inaugurated this morning and would provide services to clearing agencies and provide all the services that are currently provided at the headquarter, located in Sanabis, with the exception of inspection management and labour offices’ services.

It also added that the outlet would also host branches of relevant government authorities, such as the General Directorate of Nationality, Passports and Residency, Information and e-Government Authority and the Social Insurance Organisation.

LMRA chief executive Osama bin Abdullah Al-Absi said the move would reflect positively on the speed of completion of the transaction and improve the quality of services provided to citizens and investors.

He pointed out that the opening of the port branch is in line with the Commission’s policy to facilitate transactions for customers and upgrade services.

It is noteworthy that the Commission authority is working within an integrated governmental group to provide fast service to business owners and expatriates.

The port branch would work five days a week (Sunday through Thursday) from 7:30am until 3:30 pm.
