Civil Defence personnel injured in road mishap
Manama : Two Civil Defence personnel sustained injuries in a traffic mishap that occurred in the Northern Governorate yesterday afternoon.
Interior Ministry confirmed the incident on its official Twitter page stating that it took place in Hamad Town.
The ministry said, “One civil Defence personnel sustained minor injuries and a second one suffered medium injuries when their fire engine lost control in Hamad Town.”
The ministry added that both men were referred to a hospital for treatment. Meanwhile, sources informed that the accident took place near roundabout 20 while the men were on duty.
