Govt’s actions led to good fiscal results: HRH Premier

Manama : Prime Minister HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa attributed the good fiscal results achieved by the financial and banking institutions in the Kingdom to the success of the government, which accomplished in creating an economic environment with growth potential under all circumstances. 

Appreciating the successful management of the financial and banking institutions, Prince Khalifa said, “It reflects the outstanding ability of Bahrainis and their good reputation that have become some of the elements of attraction in this sector.”

HRH Premier’s remarks came during his meeting with several Royal Family members and senior state officials, led by the President of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs, Shaikh Abdulla bin Khalid Al Khalifa at Gudaibiya Palace yesterday.

Speaking on the occasion, the Prime Minister appreciated the contributions of the Bahrainis to the national action march, noting that they had set themselves as bright models of dedication in strengthening the pillars of the nation’s progress. In this regard, HRH Premier valued highly the good efforts exerted by Shaikh Abdulla bin Khalid, describing him as “a national icon and a major reference with regards to the Bahraini, Arab and Islamic history.” Prince Khalifa also reviewed with them a number of economic issues, voicing pride in the successes made by the Bahraini economy in spite of the challenges it is facing as a result of the global economic situation.

Meanwhile, representatives of the financial and banking institutions in the Kingdom extended appreciation to HRH the Prime Minister for his unwavering support to the sector, which enhanced its ability to adapt to various global economic developments.

They lauded the government’s “successful” policies and programmes that led to the stability of Bahrain’s economy amid volatile global economic situation.
