Nirbhayananda to speak at Chinmaya Mission’s event

Manama : Bahrain Chinmaya Society will organise the birth centenary celebrations of spiritual leader Swami Chinmayananda, who inspired the formation of Chinmaya Mission, a worldwide non-profit organisation, on May 8 at Bahrain Keraleeya Samajam Diamond Jubilee Auditorium. 

 The keynote address will be given by Swami Nirbhayananda Saraswati, who is associated with Chinmaya Mission and it’s activities from his childhood in India and Bahrain. Swami Nirbhayananda is a former student of Indian School Bahrain. Now as acharya in-charge of Chinmaya Mission Mumbai (Borivali) and Chinmaya Mission Vasai, he developed the Borivali, a suburb of Mumbai into a dynamic centre with youth and elders alike. 

A thinker by choice, Swami Nirbhayananda Saraswati, was born to a pious couple hailing from Kerala; his parents were his inspiration to walk into this noble spiritual path. He found immense joy in the company of his Guru Swami Chinmayananda.

He served the Chinmaya Mission Mumbai as its General Secretary for the Youth Wing in late 90’s. He transformed the inter-collegiate event Raag Podium into a mega event reaching out to 140 colleges in Mumbai. 

Swami Nirbhayananda took up learning of Vedanta as a full time student in 2002-2004 under the tutelage of Swami Ishwarananda  and received Sanyasa Deeksha from   Swami Tejomayanandaji on May 2015. 

He through his mastery in English, Hindi and Malayalam alike has been conducting workshops in B’ Schools, Educational Institutions and Corporate offices.

 He is known for his talks on human values based on Bhagavad Gita and Upanishads.
