Euro Motors Jaguar Land Rover gets Recognition Award

Manama : Euro Motors, the exclusive dealer and distributor for luxury automotive manufacturer Jaguar Land Rover in Bahrain, announced its receipt of an Award of Recognition for its sponsorship of an art auction that was recently organised by the Sovereign Art Foundation (SAF) in conjunction with the Royal Charity Organization (RCO). The Award was presented to Hannane Laidouni, the Marketing Manager of Euro Motors Jaguar Land Rover, who received it on behalf of the premier dealership.

Euro Motors Jaguar Land Rover provided Land Rover Experience Bahrain vouchers that were given away as prizes in their capacity as sponsors of the enormously impacting charity auction. The philanthropic event raised BD 270,500 for the RCO by auctioning off winning students’ paintings from a competition that was held by the SAF prior to the Charity Auction.

The prestigious event was held at the Four Seasons Hotel Bahrain Bay recently and was attended by Dr. Mustafa Al Sayed, the Secretary General of the RCO, on behalf of Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Representative of His Majesty the King for Charity Work and Youth Affairs and the Chairman of the Royal Charity Organization’s Board of Trustees.

Nawaf Khalid Al Zayani, the Managing Director of Euro Motors, said: “At Euro Motors Jaguar Land Rover, we constantly strive to wholeheartedly fulfil our Corporate Social Responsibilities and with our sponsorship of the Gala Dinner. We are glad to have been able to add this milestone to the illustrious list of achievements we have accumulated over the years.”

The Sovereign Art Foundation (SAF) was established in 2003 with a well-defined twin focus: to recognize the growing wealth of contemporary art talent in Asia, and bring the proven benefits of art therapy to underprivileged children. Over the past 12 years, SAF has raised and distributed more than US$5 million to support a variety of art-based programmes for children throughout Asia.
