Cricket tournament to commence from First of Ramadan

Pakistan Club’s 3rd Ramadan Kareem 7-A side cricket tournament will commence from First of Ramadan at the club premises.
An opening ceremony will take place on Thursday evening at the club premises. As many as 60 teams will participate in the tournament. The teams have been divided into senior, under 19 and under 15 categories. It will be a flood light tournament in which all the matches will be played at night after the evening (isha) prayers.
Final match will be played on Ramadan 28. The winning team for senior category will be awarded with the cash prize of $700 while under 19 and the under 15 winning teams will get $500 and $400 respectively along with the trophies.
Pakistan Club Chairman Zahid Sheikh has been organising this event during Ramadan for the last many years and it is a part of providing the youth an opportunity to display their sports potential.
Sports Secretary Rana Shahid Ahmed said that Pakistan Club will try to organise the tournament with the same spirit and enthusiasm as it has been doing the previous years.
