PM receives Philippine President special envoy

 His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa received yesterday Special Envoy of the Philippines President to the GCC countries Dr. Amable Aguiluz and discussed with him ways of boosting ties between the two friendly countries in various fields.

 Dr. Aguiluz conveyed to the Premier the greetings of Philippines President Benigno Aquino III and his Vice-President as well as their best wishes of further progress and prosperity to Bahrain.

 Prince Khalifa lauded the advanced level of bilateral relations and ongoing ties between the two friendly countries regarding issues of common interest.

 He underlined Bahrain's keenness to further boost ties with the Philippines, praising the contribution of the Philippine community to Bahrain's development.

 He also asked Dr. Aguiluz to convey his greetings to the Philippines President and Vice-President as well as his best wishes to them of more growth and prosperity to the Philippine people.

 The Philippines President's Special Envoy commended the role of the Premier in boosting bilateral cooperation. He also praisedconfirming his country's interest in bolstering relations with Bahrain and praising the care given to the Philippine community by the government.
