Bahrain to participate in GCC meeting

The Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning Ministry will participate in the 30th meeting of senior municipalities’ officials in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, set to be hosted by Riyadh on Monday.
The ministry’s Undersecretary for Municipalities’ Affairs Dr. Nabil Mohammed Abu Al-Fateh said the participation is in line with the directives of GCC ministers and part of consultation meetings held by GCC senior officials.
The meeting will discuss mainly the reports of specialised technical teams, the GCC Award for Municipal Work, beautification of cities, the unified GCC building code and the preparation of a unified GCC Strategy for municipalities, he said.
