PAINTINGS EXHIBITION

A fun and unique exhibit will feature the works of father and son artists Kamal Abdulla Ali Al Abdulla and Yaqoob Kamal Al Abdulla at the InTouch Gallery, Janabiya. Kamal works in colourful acrylic, mixed media and collage while his son, Yaqoob, a Kanoo International School student, uses paint or markers to create singular and imaginative scenes.

Cafe Amsterdam is proud to annouce thier new theatre project; A special night prepared by Boho Baha, Manama Theatre Club and Cafe Amsterdam Improv, is a form of live theatre in which the plot, characters and dialogue of a game, scene or story are made up in the moment. Often improvisers will take a suggestion from the audience, or draw on some other source of inspiration to get started. Because it is improvised, no show is ever the same! So come along, laugh, enjoy and participate in an evening of comedy antics , sketches, and Improv games based on shows such as ( Saturday Night Live! Second City, and Monty Python) This Tuesday something unique is coming to Cafe Amsterdam with MTC and the Skit Happens team.

This workshop will introduce the role of music in enhancing and maintaining our health and wellness. Attendees will learn how music affects the human mind, body and spirit. The workshop will include an interactive session where attendees can experience the power of rhythm and music, and its effect on their physical and psychological state. There will be a pre- and post-test with a short questionnaire and a blood pressure monitoring. Aksana Kavaliova will provide her own instruments for this session. Previous music playing experience is not required. Attendees can bring their blood pressure monitors if desired.
