Al Sahi wins $100,000 KHCB raffle

Manama : Khaleeji Commercial Bank (KHCB), one of the leading and fast growing Islamic retail banks in Bahrain, has announced Madina Hassan Ali Al Sahi as the lucky winner of the monthly big cash prize of $100,000, in the Al Waffer raffle for April 2016. In addition, there were 39 others who won cash in the raffle draw.

The names of Al Sahi and the other winners were picked in a raffle draw held at KHCB headquarters in Bahrain Financial Harbour. The event was held under the supervision of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce and present on the occasion were members from the bank’s management and staff. Mazen Salman Sater, Assistant General Manager for Retail Banking has handed over to the winner’s son the grand prize on behalf of the Bank’s management.

Khalil Al Meer, Chief Executive Office of KHCB, congratulated the Al Waffer grand prize winner along with the other lucky winners, and commented, “Khaleeji Commercial Bank would like to take this opportunity to congratulate the winners of our April Al Waffer draw. It gives us tremendous joy in knowing that we have given our customers their dream! KHCB has and will continue to provide our customers the much needed platforms and opportunities to save and invest for the future and at the same time, win big.”

He added, “The Al Waffer is one of KHCB’s highly demanded products. It has been strategically designed to encourage a saving habit among customers, as well as enable them to win amazing prizes.”

Al Waffer awards scheme was introduced to encourage the culture of investing through which the customers gain to win monthly cash and mega prizes, on offer throughout the year. In 2016, KHCB further raised the bar of realising and achieving those by offering bigger value in the prizes and thereby making investments a rewarding experience.

The new and improved campaign includes a total of 468 exciting cash prizes of US$500 each, 11 Grand draws and 1 Mega draw. Investments in the Al Waffer scheme could mean lucky winners will walk away with prizes that include a Porsche Cayenne, US$100,000 or even the Mega draw ‘Lifetime Dream’ prize that includes a luxury villa in Oryx Hills, a Porsche Cayenne and a grand total of US$25,000.

It’s worth noting that in 2015, Al Waffer put smiles on the faces of 480 certificate holders who won prizes included cash, five exquisite, sporty BMWs and in addition, the mega raffle draw gave an incredibly lucky winner the lifetime dream of owning a luxury villa in Oryx Hills, a new BMW car and $25,000 in cash.
