GPIC enter semi-finals in Bapco bowling
Manama : GPIC defeated Tatweer 2404-2315 pin falls to reach the semi-finals after the first week of the Bahrain Industrial League Bapco Knock-Out Tournament played at Funland Bowling Centre in Manama.
Top scoring for GPIC was Mohammed Al Shawoosh (238) high game and (655) high series and for Tatweer Hassan K Hubaishi (260) and (623) series. Batelco crushed Banagas 2389-2230) in another first round match with top scorer for Batelco being its captain Ahmad Aqeel (255) game and (620) series and for Banagas its guest player Raed Ahmad (267) high game of the week and (673) series.
Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) beat Electricity and Water Authority (EWA) 2375-2261 to advance with Mohammed Al Shitti (231) game and (661) top scoring for BDF and for EWA Onofre Gundran (237) game and (625) series.
In another match, Gulf Air got the better of Bapco winning 2516-2401 with the main scorers being Jm Villanueva (252) game and (687) high series of the week for Gulf Air and for Bapco Ahmad Al Malki (258) game and (650) series.
This week’s action features Gulf Air against Asry and Batelco taking on Pioneers.
